In India where government funds are limited, private and corporate support for the arts is crucial for strengthening the role of the visual arts in society. Contemporary art in India is at its most dynamic phase today with artists and creative practitioners looking for opportunities to extend their creativity towards building better communities, more engaging spaces and stronger partnerships.
