The FICA Patrons Programme 2022 - 2023 launched the seventh edition of the programme, returning with renewed vigour to in-person events and exciting programming. We are truly grateful to our patrons for their unwavering support through an extremely active year. Their continued patronage and generosity have been instrumental in enabling FICA to scale new zeniths as an arts organisation, with promising new partnerships and inspiring encounters with art.

Our presence at India Art Fair 2022 in April was also the launch of our Patrons Programme this year.
At India Art Fair, we were pleased shift gears to showcase an exhibition titled Notes on Tending that reflected the different kinds of relationships we have built over the years, highlighting our work with people that has created new substructures of dialogue and engagement for us as well as our audiences.

In September, Nitin Bhayana cordially invited our Patrons to a talk by the renowned Professor John Seyller on the Mughal miniature artist, Mihr Chand. This was followed by dinner at the private residence of Nitin and Bhavna Bhayana.

In July, we presented EAA 2018 awardee Anupam Roy’s Broken Cogs in the Machine at Vadehra Art Gallery. The exhibition included a walkthrough for some of our FICA Patrons who thoroughly enjoyed interacting with Anupam Roy and his works on display.

In November, Lekha Poddar hosted an exclusive dinner for our Patrons at her beautiful home, with her new collection hang consisting of textiles, along with contemporary art and sculptures.

FICA Patrons Trip to Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2022 - 23

Tying up the year, our Patrons congregated for our annual Patrons trip to Kochi in December, overlapping with the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Despite a few hiccups before the opening, our patrons managed to have fun with the festivities at large, with several exclusive interactions with biennale artists.
