In 2023, the Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art, in partnership with Royal Enfield, launched a pioneering fellowship platform, open to artists and creative practitioners, both individuals and collectives, from the Indian Himalayan Region.

Through this fellowship, we aim to champion sustainable and ecologically grounded practices that foster long-term collaboration with local communities and landscapes and practitioners working at the intersection of ecology and cultural knowledge in the Western and Eastern Himalayan regions, which also encompass the eight Northeastern states.
