Children’s Art Course

ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF INDIAN ART

A series of workshops for children aged 6 - 9

FICA Reading Room, D-42 Defence Colony, New Delhi

The Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art (FICA) and Flow Education and Culture Consultants collaboration is renowned for delivering the most informed, fun and innovative art appreciation and creation workshops in Delhi!

We are now delighted to invite children between the ages of 6 and 9 to join us on a magical journey through one hundred years of Indian art. Over six action-packed sessions we will uncover some highlights of Indian modern art, finding out about the lives of incredible artists and the way they have enriched cultural life on the subcontinent.

We will reflect on different aspects of art history by making our own creations - using a different art technique for each session, such as collage, wax resist and pastels - learning the vocabulary of art appreciation naturally as we express and share our ideas with confidence.

The course will include one scheduled gallery visit, and the highest quality images and supporting material.

All materials will be provided.
